Weighing in at only 100 lbs per engine plus 45 lbs for the transmission, now you will find the weight is not much different- however your hydromatic needs water hoses, transmission hoses, thermostats, transmission cooler, and you certainly can "smoke the tranny" if not to careful! Besides nobody builds one reliable and strong enough for big horsepower.
